Vasistha Spiritual Teachings Retreat February 18-23: Novato, CA There are only 2 places left for this retreat Vasistha Spiritual Teachings Retreat with Mukunda and Chinnamasta from their new home in Novato in Marin County ( 50 minutes North from San Francisco Airport). We are delighted to open our sacred space to share these teachings. This practice is the Spiritual Heart of Yoga. For all serious students wishing to deepen their connection to Spirit. The text "Vasistha's Yoga", translation by Swami Venkatesananda is considered the highest yoga teaching. Whatever can be experienced in yoga is reflected in Vasistha's Yoga. By a practice of the teaching methods of story telling, devotion and enquiring into the essence of the teachings, the True Self is revealed.These teachings lead to experience of non dualism / unity.

Optional Spiritual Mentoring Training The 2 year Spiritual Mentoring Training Program is for those who wish to develop the qualities to guide others on Spirit Path.The program consists of a 2 year commitment with: 1 A monthly skype or phone session with Mukunda to guide you within your current challenges and to personalize your Sadhana 2 At least once a year connect face to face in either the Vasistha Retreat, or a personalized Ayurveda/Yoga retreat at our home where Chinnamasta and Mukunda guide you together on multi kosha levels 3 From a persistant sadhana, sattva should arise as a more natural quality, which prepares you to receive guidance in how to guide your students/ clients If you are interested in following this program, contact us to see wether this program is appropriate for you at this moment: office@yogatherapycenter.org |

Thaught by Mangala Warner and Zoe Kowalchuk - senior SYT teachers. The scope of SYT training is to enable trainees to give personalized effective guidance to yoga clients to overcome their physical challenges and alleviate pain so that the deeper practices can bear fruit.With asana, kinesiology,hands on muscle and range of motion testing, spirit teachings, observing individual sessions. This training is based on the Classical Yoga of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Krishnamacharya’s principle of adapting to the individual, and the spiritual teachings of Swami Muktananda. It is both profoundly practical and deeply spiritual. It will enable you to give a detailed assessment of a client’s flexibility and strength and from that information to create a personalized Structural Yoga Therapy (SYT) program.
Registration: To register for the East Coast Structural Yoga Therapy training please send an email with your yoga training background, full mailing address, email address, phone number and a written and signed declaration that you wish to commit to the SYT certification training in NEW YORK, 2012. Add a check of $ 5000, payable to NESYT, LCC. Costs for housing and required readings are excluded from the teaching fee.

Tantra Yoga Secrets May 5th, Yogaworks, Walnut Creek, CA
This workshop will provide tantra spiritual practice that has been a hidden secret since tantra's origins in the 12th century. The teachings are based upon the latest book of Mukunda Stiles "Tantra Yoga Secrets". The three hour workshop will be taught by Mukunda and his consort Chinnamasta and will include a spirit talk, vinyasa, tantrasana, pranayama, mudra and meditation that are the heart of tantra's non-dual approach.
