"The essence of Spiritual Practice ( Sadhana) is the marriage of Love and Wisdom" Mukunda
Workshops and training programs offered by Chinnamasta and Mukunda are given from the perpective of Classical Yoga, Ayurveda and Tantra. These traditional teachings together form a comprehensive Spiritual practice, open to all deep seekers longing to live a fullfilling Spiritual lifestyle. We are blending our personal knowledge and experience of Yoga, Ayurveda and Tantra and offer insights from point of view of Devi and Deva. The consort relationship has led to new insights that neither of us could express on our own. We feel grateful and honored to serve The teachings help the student develop a unique personal sadhana that is reflected in daily life, so that the sadhana is lived throughout the day in the worldly life as a Spiritual lifestyle. The goal of the teachings is finding balance of the dosha's vata, pitta and kapha. On a deeper level the aim is to find balance of the guna's towards a sattvic state - or our natural state of being, our True Home -The Self. All eight limbs of the Classical Yoga according to Mukunda's interpretation of the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali are practiced. Classical Spiritual texts of Patanjali, Yoga Vasistha, Vijnana Bhairava Tantra are elaborated to create deeper understanding and insight about the direction and purpose of life. The Structural Yoga Therapy Training program and the Ayurvedic Teacher Training program - created by Mukunda are professional training programs that for some can be a Sadhana. These training programs are open to Yoga teachers & Ayurvedic therapists and Healers. For deep seekers a new program is offered that focuses on blending the triangle of teachings of Yoga, Ayurveda and Tantra. The core of those teachings are: " Personal Sadhana is yoga therapy and transforms you from therapist into a multi kosha dimensional healer" Part of this program is offered in India during an anual retreat and part is offered in our home town Novato California were we meet as a sangha and share teachings. A commitment of 2 years for this program is needed, as well as a monthly private with Mukunda or Chinnamasta to establish a continuous mentoring.
