Mentorship & the Student-Teacher Relationship
TRILOGY THERAPY PROGRAM
The modules of Structural Yoga Therapy Level 1, Āyurveda Comprehensive Foundation Level 1 and Patañjali Yoga Sutra Chapter II, are part of the Trilogy Healing Program of Shiva Shakti Loka, a multi-dimensional approach of healing including yoga, āyurveda and tantra.
The modules are offered to deepen your personal experience of the multi-dimensional yoga therapeutic approach. The courses are not self-learners, yet are meant to be integrated through live mentoring. Chinnamasta believes that a supportive relationship between the student and the teacher is crucial, to adapt your sādhana to your unique personality and circumstances. A personalized approach serves you in understanding who you are, what your karmas are and what the most efficient and elevating road map is for you, revealing your potential. For that potency to evolve in a fruit, that which is being transmitted from a teacher to a student, should come from a place of integrity and commitment to the tradition of yoga, āyurveda and tantra. This is true for both the teacher and the student. 'Your personal sādhana is the yoga therapy offered to the client.'
DHARMIC LIFE
The gems shared, should first be personally experienced, through a consistent practice over a longer period of time, leading to an embodiment. You pass on what you have lived through, honoring those who came before you, honoring the tradition and respecting the Inner Teacher. This starts with polishing your own attitude as it translates to the yamas and niyamas reflecting the back-bone of a dharmic life. A dharmic life is living life aligned with goodness, compassion and clarity. It reflects a way of living protecting and honoring all living beings. The opposite of this would be an adharmic life, leading to chaos and the loss of a culture. There is a saying in āyurveda that if one wishes to understand how to integrate a new life direction, you need to go through all the seasons of the year, to ground that 'newly planted tree' in the soil. Only then the tree is ready to offer fruit.
ETERNAL TEACHINGS
The eternal teachings are sacred. To unlock the secrets that are held within the sūtras, the sadhak should implement a sādhana founded in the trinity of self-study, discipline and devotion. These foundational steps given by Sri Patañjali, elevate your consciousness and reveal the heart of yoga. This is the highest presence called the Self, experienced in the hidden heart, revealing Truth. These secrets should be unlocked with the help of someone who walked before you. We all need someone to reflect with, this is how we learn.
RESPECT AND LOVE
The guidance of an elder as I would call it, who walked/walks their talk over a prolonged time, is a priceless gift. I am eternally grateful for this gift, as is only because of all these teachers who came before me, that I am able to share with others the blessings of yoga, āyurveda and tantra. Their support both in this world and in the beyond continuous to give me wings.
I am looking forward hearing from you, when you feel drawn to dive deep into your own heart and go into the beyond.
With great respect and love
