6Join Chinnamasta for this special 6 week series on Āyurvedic cooking and nutrition. This is an approachable course for any one with an interest in applying Āyurvedic principles to their food in alignment with the season.
Course structure:
Prior to the start of your first cooking class, you receive a shopping list, to buy all dry ingredients and a pdf cooking manual with detailed recipes, āyurvedic medicinal science and lots of visuals.
The six week course consists of six pre-recorded cooking/nutrition lesson to watch and practice at home in your own kitchen, self paced and hands-on
These high quality videos of are divided into four segments:
1 Tips for this week - a talk of Chinnamasta sharing practical tips
2 Theme: Each week the class evolves around one of the five elements, and how this element is represented in the nutrition and your experience in your body. Chinnamasta shares the intricacies of the element, in an approachable way.
3 Cooking demo: explanation of the flow and logistics of the different dishes that are being cooked that week, usually 3 dishes are demonstrated on video, step by step with sub-titles and a detailed manual to support you while you cook in your own kitchen
4 Plating: showing the end result where are parts of the menu come together.
Topics covered will include making your kitchen a sacred space ( vastu) , understanding seasonal foods and spices, how to prepare and activate spices, making your own garam masala, the six cooking methods to transform the digestibility of a food, the five elements and the six tastes, how to adjust recipes based on your current constitution and environmental factors, seasonal meals and more.
During this course you will also be given access to Chinnamasta's Patreon Tier 1 resources to warmly welcome you to the community with access to monthly satsaṅgs, Chinnamasta's Āyurvedic Recipe library and more resources.
Course materials will be available to you for six months after the end of the course, and continued for ongoing students.
