Patanjali's Yoga Sutras Chapter 2
Join Chinnamasta for an exploration of Chapter 2 of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali as interpreted by Mukunda Stiles.
Learn how to anchor yourself in Wisdom and stay close to the Truth.
In this course Chinnamasta explores the threads of wisdom in a practical way from a yogic, ayurvedic and tantrik point of view. These classes offer an opportunity to be on the receiving end, to remember what is truthful and to reflect on what this means for your daily life in relation to the world that you live in.
More than ever, in order to decrease life stress and to help us to stick together and to do the right thing, we need to receive wisdom for the heart. The eternal wisdom teachings are medicine, protecting the sanity of your mind, offering you an elevated view of life and supporting you in making well informed and heart based decisions.
The 90 minutes classes start with a mantra, swadyaya, dharma talk, mantra, prānayāma, prayer and a completing meditation. The classes are supported with a pdf with highlights of the class, a practice for that week relating to the sūtras discussed, a member page dedicated to Sanskrit pronounciation and hand written sūtras in Devanagari and a monthly mentoring meeting to ask questions.
Chinnamasta recommends to start with Chapter II and once you are grounded in Sādhanā Pada to continue with Chapter I.
